RUSH SPRINGS, Okla. - Lindsay Nicole Jackson, 36, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, in Rush Springs, OK.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. April 2, 2024, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with Jon Bawden officiating. All arrangements will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, OK.

Lindsay Jackson (Bond) was born Monday, June 1, 1987, in Norman, OK, to James Bond and Jeanie Baker. Lindsay grew up in Noble, OK and graduated from Noble High School in 2005. She earned a BBA degree in accounting from The University of Oklahoma and started working for Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City.

Lindsay married the love of her life, Jack Jackson, on March 28, 2015, in Norman and together they celebrated eight years of marriage before her passing. Lindsay and Jack moved to the Rush Springs area, and with their kids, they went to work on the farm. When Landyn started school, Lindsay began volunteering as a teacher's aide, substitute teacher, or whatever role the school needed from her that day. Lindsay discovered a love and passion for teaching, spending most of her time involved in all school events. Lindsay was known to be gruff to many at first, but once she opened up to you, she was extremely kind and outgoing. Lindsay's other hobbies included spending time with her family, working on the farm, cooking, going on new adventures, and spending time at school events. Lindsay will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of the home Jack Jackson, two sons, Landyn Jackson of the home, Jordan Jackson and wife Peyton of San Diego, CA, one daughter, Jada Jackson of Chickasha/Rush Springs, father, James Bond and wife Wendy of Noble, mother, Jeanie Baker and husband Rex of Noble, three brothers, Jason Baker of Chickasha, Brandon Baker and wife Abby of Noble, Clayton Baker of Lexington, one sister, Taylor Bond of Oklahoma City, in-laws, Larry and Joan Jackson, brother-in-law, Nick Jackson and wife Ava, two sisters-in-law, Renee Harris and husband Donald, Jennifer McCraw and husband Russ, and grandparents, Lee and Pat Bond along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Joann Followwill, and Carl and Helen Baker.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
