Marlow Outlaw Baseball Team to Play in Regionals
Marlow Outlaw Baseball team defeated the Byng Pirates, 3-2, in the bottom of the 7th inning, Thursday, April 25. Jackson Miller's single to right field gave Hudson Morgan the advantage to score the winning run. Morgan was the winning pitcher for the Outlaws as he gave up 2 earned runs over six innings. This puts Marlow in the Class 4A Super Regional Tournament, which they will be hosting.
As of press deadline, Marlow was ranked #4 and was scheduled to play #13 North Rock Creek (Shawnee) Cougars. The first two games were to start at noon and 2 p.m. Wednesday (moved up a day due to possible severe weather). Another “if” game has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday and the winner of the Super Regional advances to State Tournament, May 9-11.
