Bernice M. Bernard, 67, of Duncan died Saturday, Dec. 1, in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services are planned for Friday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. at Ray of Hope Church, with her sons and the Rev. Charles Bernard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Community Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home  in Duncan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bernice was born Aug. 16, 1945, in Chickasha to J.D. (Boone) and Dorothy (Welchell) McCoy. She married Henry A. Bernard on March 22, 1962, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2012. Bernice was a cook for the Central High and Duncan school systems for many years. She was a member of the Pecan Street Church of God.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Eugene, Melvin and Jackie McCoy; and two sisters, JoAnn Tipton and LaDonna Gibbons.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Tim and Brenda Bernard of Borger, Texas, David Bernard of Duncan, Matt and Lisa Bernard of Marlow, and Mark and Susie Bernard of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Beonsia Bernard of Duncan; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Cathy McCoy of Midwest City; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Alvin Hancock of Comanche, and Carolyn and Tom Hall of Marietta; and a host of other family members and close friends.
Pallbearers are Jake Bernard, Ben Bernard, Josh Bernard, Craig Bernard, Moses Ruiz, Bryan Scott, Charles Sprouse and David Boone Hancock.
