Darrel Keith Fulton, 63, of Duncan died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at his home.
Services are planned for Friday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnny Wray officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Darrel was born Friday, Nov. 4, 1949, in Marlow to Raymond V. and Hazel W. (Hanks) Fulton. He lived in Dallas for 20 years before moving to Duncan 10 years ago. He attended school in Marlow and later served in the United States Army. Darrel was very proud of having served his country in Korea during the Vietnam era. He was an avid OU sports fan. He enjoyed playing poker, darts and pool; and he also loved playing the guitar and singing. Darrel enjoyed being at the lake, fishing and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.
Darrel was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby Lynn Fulton and Junior Horn.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tracy Fulton of Rush Springs; three granddaughters, Jeri Layne Cox and husband Collin of Colorado Springs, Colo., Montana Renae Fulton of Rush Springs, and Lauren Michael Fulton of Rush Springs; two great-grandchildren, Trinity Rose Cox and Christian Michael Cox, both of Colorado Springs; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Brenda and John Rose of Yukon, Cathy and David Fish of Austin, Texas, and Carolyn Sue Byrd of Duncan; two aunts, Bennie Page of Duncan, and Josephine Shaw and husband Kenneth of Duncan; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers are Kaden Garner, Jeremy Page, Justin Fish, John Rose, Scotty Taylor and Clint Hanks.
