Dorin Bradley Lowry III, 53, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, in Oklahoma City.
Services were held Saturday, Jan. 21, at Glory Bound Church, with the Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial followed in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Brad was born Saturday, June 7, 1958, in Marlow to Dorin Bradley II and Imogene Rosalee (Wright) Lowry. He lived in the Marlow area his entire life and graduated from Marlow High School in 1976. Brad married the former Linda Sue Gray in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1975. He later married the former Kimberly Shoup on July 13, 2005. Brad was a truck driver. He was a member of the teamsters’ union and the Order of the Red, Red Rose. He enjoyed building and working on cars. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, and work with his cattle. Brad was a member of Glory Bound Church in Marlow.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Danny Riggins.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Lowry, of the home; a son, Donny Lowry of Hobbs, N.M.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angelia and Chuck Watkins of Marlow, Mandy and Joseph Melton of Marlow, and Heather Smith of Edmond; three grandchildren, Ethan Lowry Cooper, Erick Riley Melton and Anna Catherine Melton; his mother, Imogene Rosalee Lowry-Morris of Marlow; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Kim Lowry of Marlow; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Kent Dunn of Marlow; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Donny Lowry, Joe Melton, Chuck Watkins, Brian Lowry, Kent Dunn and Casey Jones.
