Eddie Dean Condit, 51, of Waurika died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at his home.
Services are planned for Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dow Pannell officiating. Burial will follow in the Purdy Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Eddie was born Tuesday, April 4, 1961, in Marlow to Doyle and Gloria (Jodie) Sullivan Condit. He lived the Stephens County area most of his life and attended school in Doyle and Marlow, where he was active in FFA. He had lived in Jefferson County for the past few months. Eddie was a bullrider. He worked in the oil field as a roughneck for many years. He loved walking his dog, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. Eddie proclaimed his faith and loved going to church. He was a member of the Christian Center in Duncan.
Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include a son, Whitt Condit of Norman; his father, Doyle Condit and his wife Charlene of Doyle; his mother, Jodie Kouns of Waurika; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael David Condit of Waurika, Mike Cunningham of Cox City, and Don and Bonnie Cunningham of Marlow; a sister, Pam Condit and Ed Casados of Doyle; a niece, Rachel Cunningham; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are Dale Estes, Terry Condit, Greg Cummings, Ronnie Lynn Milligan, Bobby Joe England and Billie Price.
