Jeanne Rowe, 77, of Marlow died Sunday, June 30, 2013, in Chickasha.
Services were held Wednesday, July 3, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, with the Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial followed in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
Jeanne was born Tuesday, April 14, 1936, in Plain Dealing, La., to William and Lila (DeMoss) Bass. She graduated from high school in Phoenix, Ariz. Jeanne had lived in Marlow since 1981. In 1955, she married Lee W. Boyd, Jr., in Phoenix. He preceded her in death in August of 1968. In May of 1982, Jeanne married Virgil Rowe at Gatlin Baptist Church. She was employed as an office manager for Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton for more than 10 years.
Jeanne loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for family members and friends, and she liked to shop. Jeanne loved staying active. She was always looking for ways to stay busy. She was a member of Soble Baptist Church in Soble.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her first husband; her parents; two sons, Bill Boyd and Bob Boyd; and a sister, YvonneVargo.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Rowe of Marlow; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Brenda Boyd and Todd Sills of Oklahoma City, Becky and Sam Sullivent of Marlow, Kay and Randy Nowlin of Marlow, and Debbie and Allen Lampman of Rush Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Gayla Rowe of Tuttle; 11 grandchildren Jonathan Boyd, Shiloh Sullivent, Talon Sullivent, Jacob Sills, Jeremy Nowlin, Jennifer Walters, Jill Slay, Jarod Rowe, Cory Wiggins, Terry Wiggins, and Karissa Wiggins; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Catherine Bass of Argyle, Texas, and Bill and Carol Bass of Phoenix; a daughter-in-law, Deanna Boyd of Tulsa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma  Society.
