Ola Mae Fitzgerald

Ola Mae Fitzgerald, 93, of Marlow died Monday morning, Jan. 14, 2013, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 1:30 p.m. at the Stephens United Methodist Church in Duncan, with the Rev. Glen Miller and Pastor Mikel Araujo officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan.
Ola Mae was born Aug. 5, 1918, at Enterprise to Charles and Mary (White) Smith. She attended Terral schools and the Oklahoma School of Agriculture. Ola Mae married Loyd David (L.D.) Fitzgerald on Dec. 31, 1938, at Tishomingo; he preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1989. Ola Mae was a homemaker and a member of the Stephens United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and camping, and she especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her door was always open.
Ola Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two infant children; seven brothers, Buell Smith, Hulan Smith, Floyd Smith, Houston Smith, Austin Smith, Jay Smith and Carl Smith; and two sisters, Luellen Weatherly and Juanita Weatherly.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gordon and Sudie Fitzgerald of Marlow, and David Fitzgerald of Chesapeake, Va.; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jim Powers, Joseph Garza, Greg Solomon, Stone Fitzgerald, Colby Gray and Donnie Corrales.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stephens United Methodist Church, 905 South Ninth Street, Duncan, OK 73533.
