Raymond Price (Buck) Buckmaster, 89, of Duncan died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Meridian.
Graveside services are planned for Monday, Aug. 26, at 9 a.m. in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Doug Gunsalus officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan.
Buck was born March 14, 1925, at Tamaha to Orbie and Della (Yakley) Buckmaster. He married the former Myretta Don Smith on Jan. 1, 1945, at White Oak, Texas. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2005.  He married the former Mary Ann Patton on Oct. 11, 2006, in Duncan. Buck was a veteran, having served in the United States Army, and he was a member of the Heritage Oaks Church of the Nazarene.
Buck had an extensive career in law enforcement, serving in California, with the Duncan Police Department, and with the Stephens County Sheriff’s Department. He was the first municipal judge in Velma. Buck was also a mechanic who ran several EXXON service stations, as well as an oil-and-gas production operation.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; and two brothers, Bobbie and Orval Buckmaster.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann, of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Tom Hendrix of Broken Arrow, Margaret and Ernest Tinney of Marlow, and Elizabeth and John Teufel of Geneva, N.Y.; two stepsons, Alan Gunter of Shawnee, and Duane Wickell of Duncan; a sister, Geraldine Lee of Visalia, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and his constant companion, Cowboy.
Honorary bearers are Johnny Teufel, Michael Teufel, Raymond Tinney, Ronnie Tinney, Brian Hendrix, Brent Hendrix, Brandon Hendrix, Brooke Hendrix, Alan Gunter and Duane Wickell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Oaks Church of the Nazarene.
