Reo R. Crousen

Marlow native Reo R. Crousen, 94, a decorated World War II veteran, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.
A funeral service is planned for Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Mount Olivet Chapel in Fort Worth, with interment following in Bluebonnet Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet.
Reo was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Marlow. He was employed with General Dynamics for 35 years as a materials inspector. Reo was very active in the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners for more than 50 years.
Reo was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lou Crousen.
Survivors include a nephew, Grady Housewright and wife Mary; a niece, Jan Lynch Carleton and husband John; a great-nephew, Keith Housewright and wife Shani; two great-nieces, Shaylynn Lesinski and husband Josh, and Shelbrie Lynch; two great-great-nieces, MacKayla and Lawsyn Lesinski; a brother-in-law, Robert Snyder; and a sister-in-law, Coretta Crousen.
