Rickie T. Barton, 32, of Marlow died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at his home.
Services are planned for Thursday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with Brother Dan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Rickie was born on Monday, March 31, 1980, in Rock Springs, Wyo., to Lara Joe and Betty Sue (Watts) Barton. He attended Bray schools and had lived in the Marlow/Bray area since 1991. Rickie was a real country boy at heart. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, camping and his boys’ sporting events. He loved spending time with his boys. Rickie did not have a church home, but gave his heart to Jesus years ago.
Rickie was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Jackie Ray Crenwelge and Billy Dan Crenwelge; a sister, Tina Lorine Barton; and all of his grandparents.
Survivors include his sons, Tyler Joe Barton and David Larry Barton, both of Springville, Ind.; the mother of his children, Nicole Watters of Springville; his mother, Betty Barton of Marlow; eight brothers and six sisters-in-law, William and Kerri Barton of Marlow, Dale and Vanessa Barton of Ardmore, Wayne and Jamie Barton of Velma, Bobby Barton of Marlow, Richard and Nita Crenwelge of Marlow, Charles and Connie Chambless of Yukon, Donny and Flo Chambless of Altoona, Ala., and Bobby Chambless of Altoona; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Peggy and Glen Woods of Marlow, Donna Barton and boyfriend Michael Poynter of Marlow, Tonya Bush of Marlow, and Shelly Chambless of Altoona; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Pallbearers are Stacy Morris, Buddy Morris, Bobby Barton and William Barton. Honorary bearers are Rickie’s sons, Tyler and David.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help offset funeral expenses.
