Shawn David Phillips, 37, of Marlow died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, in Marlow.
Services are planned for Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, with Pastor R.L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Shawn was born Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1974, in Newark, Ohio, to Donald and Theresa (Goss) Phillips. He moved from Newark to Broken Arrow in 1982 and graduated from Brown Arrow High School in 1992. Shawn had recently moved to Marlow from Manitou. He enjoyed drag racing, working on cars, riding his Harley and taking time to travel. Shawn loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and all of his family.
He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandfather; his paternal grandfather; and a nephew, Andrew Bland.
Survivors include three sons, Mason Phillips of Haskell, and Dyllon Phillips and Dalton Phillips of Lawton; a daughter, Makayla Phillips of Lawton; his fiancée, Ginger Cole, of the home; his mother, Theresa Weatherford and her husband Rick of Beggs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Dale St. Clair of Catoosa, and Rebecca and Jason Goombi of Broken Arrow; his maternal grandmother, Rose Goss of Newark; his paternal grandmother, Joan Phillips of Bellville, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are Mason Phillips, Dale St. Clair, Jason Goombi, Wayne Cole, Eddy Grigsby and Evan Carter.
