James Robert Brooks, 70, of Elk Grove, Calif., succumbed to pancreatic
cancer on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at his home, surrounded by family
members and friends.
His earthly remains were donated to the medical school at the University
of California in Davis, in compliance with his final wish in the hope
of doing good for others.
