TOP WINNERSEight of the 18 Grand and Reserve Grand Champions at this year’s Stephens County Junior Livestock Show were exhibited by members of the Central High FFA Chapter.
Top winners from Central High include
• Jarrod Harper, Grand Champion market steer;
• Madison Davis, Reserve Grand market steer;
• Dalton Davis, Grand Champion prospect steer;
• Lacie Phillips, Grand Champion heifer;
• Will Derryberry, Reserve Grand heifer;
• Cody Fishgrab, Reserve Grand ewe;
• Deekota Williams, Reserve Grand market lamb; and
• Cooper Phillips, Reserve Grand gilt.
Of the 60 members of the Central High FFA Chapter and 4-H Club who participated in the Stephens County fat stock show,  44 qualified for the premium sale.
This sale had 143 students parade their show stock through the auction ring, and the Central High students comprised 30 percent of that number.
Central High students also entered 47 barrows, 30 gilts, nine heifers, eight market steers, five goat does and eight sheep in the Oklahoma Youth Expo staged recently at the state fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.
