Little league team wins state

STATE CHAMPIONSThe Marlow Outlaws little league baseball team captured the USSSA Oklahoma state championship late last month.
The 12-and-under team finished the season at 45-2.
The young Outlaws started the season by winning the Thunder-N-Heat 2011 Spring Tune-up before taking the pre-season tournament in the Marlow Community Baseball League (MCBL).
The Outlaws, which played in the MCBL this season, also won the Eddie Palmer Open championship, and the Eddie Palmer Shoot-out.
The Marlow squad completed the run, sweeping four games in the USSSA state championship tournament in late June at Reeves Park in Norman.
Team members include Tanner Laden, Austin Gilley, Rylan Cochran, Devin Crawford, Gage O’Neal, Will Coffman, Ryan Ridge, Wyatt Bergner, Miles Ellis, Tyler Polk, Preston Nunley and Graham Nunley.
The Outlaws’ coaches are George Coffman, Nuell Brown, Kevin Crawford, David O’Neal and Ross Ridge.
