Kenneth Earl Branstetter

Kenneth Earl Branstetter, passed away from this life on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in his home at the age of 80.

Cremation has been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. At the family's request a Graveside Service will be at a later date.

Kenneth was born Sunday, November 29, 1936 in Pauls Valley, to Carl Haywood and Hettie (Johnson) Branstetter. He had lived in Oklahoma most all of his life. He graduated from Lindsey High School in California. Kenneth married Sharon Coleman on March 9, 1957 in Lawton. He served in the Army and later returned to work for ODOT where he retired. Kenneth enjoyed golf and playing chess. He loved to read and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Branstetter of the home; two sons, Mark Branstetter of Oklahoma City, Eric Branstetter of Albuquerque, NM; a daughter, Julie Workman and husband, Don of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Rayna, Breezy, Adam, Coleman, and Dalton; and seven great-grandchildren, Donovan, Anastasia, Caitlyn, Conner, Jordan, Ty, and Eli.

He was preceded in death his parents; two brothers, Carl Branstetter, Jr. and Charles Branstetter; and two sisters, Ramona Branstetter and Thelma Branstetter.
