Paul Ray Loveless

Paul Ray Loveless, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at his home at the age of 83.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2017, at the Westview Cemetery, with Darrin Brantley officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Paul was born Thursday, September 28, 1933, in Quanah, Texas to Raymond and Effie (Webb) Loveless. He attended school at the Little Rush School and had lived in the area for all of his life. Paul married the love of his life Lois Melton on September 12, 1959, in Chickasha. He served his country doing a tour in the Korean War through the Air Force. After returning home Paul worked for several years at LeLaLo Farms as a ranch manager where he enjoyed riding and breaking horses. The main pride and joy of Paul was loving his children and grandchildren unconditionally. He was an active member of the Rush Springs Community and will be missed greatly. Paul was a member of the Church of Christ, Lions Club, Riding Club, and participated in the Watermelon Festival.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Loveless of the home; two daughters, Trenia Epton and husband, Dale of Marlow, Treva Birchell and husband, Charlie of Rush Springs; granddaughter, Andrea Epton; granddaughter, Chelsea Epton; grandson, Dylan Birchell; granddaughter, Shelby Villarreal and husband, Anthony; great-grandchild, Riley Glymph; mother-in-law, Nevada Melton of Rush Springs. He is also survived by beloved brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Paul Dewayne; a brother, Johnny Loveless; two sisters, Gertrude Simpson, and Elsie Pearcy.
