Michael Ray Rollins, Jr.

Michael Ray Rollins, Jr. left this world to go to his heavenly home on Friday, January 19, 2018, in Marlow at the age of 39.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Dr. Joe Ligon officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Michael was born Tuesday, May 9, 1978, in Lawton, to Michael Ray Rollins, Sr. and Tommy LaDon Carter. He had lived in the Stephens County area as well as in Claremont, CA. Michael was very passionate about skateboarding. He enjoyed writing and playing music. Michael played in a band in California and M.C.'d for the band. He loved his family, especially his niece, nephew, and cousins. Michael enjoyed taking his cousins to church. Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlow.

Survivors include a sister, Tonya Rollins of Duncan; niece, Emily Gomez; nephew, Josh Gomez; stepfather, Kevin Jenkins of Marlow; aunt, Ginger Cole and James Carter; uncle, Evan Carter and wife, Jeannie; uncle, George Tommy Carter III; uncle, Grant Grigsby; uncle, Eddy Grigsby and Elizabeth Regner; uncle, Marcus Rollins; and grandparents, Thomas and Berdine Carter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tommy LaDon Carter; father, Michael Ray Rollins Sr.; grandparents, George and Verna Carter, Gene and Martha Jenkins; grandmother, Gladys Ruthledge; uncle, Mark Grigsby; and cousin, Ricky Don Grigsby.
