Idarene Haas Glick

Idarene Haas Glick was born on March 4, 1924, in Marlow, and passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018, at the age of 93 surrounded by her family.

Idarene "Mimi" never met a stranger. She found joy keeping in touch with friends and sharing Sunday night dinners with family.

Idarene was married to Louis Glick from July 4, 1944, until his death in 1959.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel and Elece (Zeve) Haas.

Idarene is survived by her daughters, Olga Strauss and husband, Robert; Carol Hirsh and husband, Robert. She was the proud matriarch of six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson: Lisa Strauss and husband, Marc Henry; Lauri Strauss; Emily Hirsh; Rob Strauss and wife, Whitney; Sharon Hill and husband, Dwight; Julie Hirsh; Johnnie Mastin; Jordan Champlin and husband, Alec; Johanna Hill; Gillian Hill; Bobby Strauss; Tim Strauss; and Coen Champlin.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 16 at Temple Emanu-El in the Lefkowitz Chapel. The burial took place at the Shearith Israel Cemetery.
