Ralph Eugene Trusty, left this world to go to his heavenly home on Monday, February 5, 2018, in Marlow at the age of 87.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. Alvin Miller and Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Eugene was born Thursday, January 29, 1931, in Rush Springs to John Ed and Opal (Mannard) Trusty. He attended school in Texas and Rush Springs. Eugene had lived in the Stephens and Grady County area most of his life. He married the love of his life, Yvela Louise McDaniel, on January 11, 1952, in Chickasha and had been married for 61 years before her passing on December 20, 2013. Eugene was an avid gardener, from his flowerbeds to the vegetable garden and had the prettiest of both for miles around. He enjoyed working on the farm and loved OU football. Eugene had the kindest heart and had never met a stranger and many children were loved like his own grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and held them close to his heart and spent all the time he could spend with them. Eugene was a member of the Bailey Community Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Riley and husband, Ray of Marlow; Diane Fulton and husband, Jay of Chickasha; granddaughter, Amy Pass and husband, Todd of Marlow; grandson, Gary Riley and wife, Nicole of Marlow; granddaughter, Camile Fulton of Allen, Texas; granddaughter, Clarissa Walton and husband, Evan of Stillwater; seven great-grandchildren, Trevor Riley, Rylie Pass, Jordan Riley, Morgan Pass, Ryder Pass, Trevor Fisher, Cherokee Rohrbough and husband, Barry; and a great-great-grandson, Brantley Rohrbough. He is also survived by two brothers, Kenneth Trusty and wife, Francis of Rush Springs; Troy Trusty and wife, Mary Helen of Rush Springs, two sisters, Illa Stewart and husband, Bud of Rush Springs; Shirley Sweat and husband, James of Rush Springs; a brother-in-law, Ronald McDaniel and wife, Gladys of Hillsboro, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife he is preceded in death by a son, John Trusty; his parents; a brother, Emmitt Trusty; a sister, Lola Kimbro; two brothers-in-law, Floyd Kimbro and Kenneth McDaniel.

Pallbearers will be Gary Riley, Todd Pass, Trevor Riley, Thomas Whitehead, Dalton Whitehead, and Joe McDaniel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Evan Walton, Ryder Pass, Aubrey Bratcher, Garrett Queener, and Aundrea Bratcher.
