Jay "J.B." Shaw, left this world on Sunday, March 4, 2018, in Duncan, at the age of 93.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow with Rev. David Standifer and Rev. Steven Boydstun officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery with military honors performed by the Stephens County Honor Guard. All arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service in Marlow.

J.B. was born Tuesday, July 15, 1924, in Denton Community, to Joseph Brandon and Mamie Margaret (Autry) Shaw. He had lived in the Marlow area all of his life and graduated from Marlow High School. J.B. married the love of his life Erma Smith in Marlow, on September 24, 1950, and had been married for 66 wonderful years before her passing on November 14, 2016. He served in the Army and while in the Army he transported General Douglas MacArthur several times. J.B. was a 32nd Degree Mason and was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed quail hunting, deer hunting, and fishing. He liked to play the fiddle and to collect as well as refurbish pocketknives. J.B. loved gardening but the thing dearest to his heart was his family.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Shaw of Marlow, Joseph "Jody" Edward Shaw and wife, Debra of Porter, Texas; four grandchildren, Jeremy Shaw and wife, Teela, Jared Shaw, Brian Shaw and wife, Kristin, Mason Shaw; five great-grandchildren, Eghen James Shaw, Addisyn Shaw, Harper Shaw, Ely Martinez, and Jakob Lowther. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Glen Shaw; and three sisters, Thelma Lee Dodson, Erma Jo Raticzeck, and Yvonne McDaniel.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Shaw, Jared Shaw, Brian Shaw, Eddie Lamb, Burl Graham, and Duane Morrison.
