Linnie Trent Woods

Linnie Trent Woods, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 67.

Funeral Services were held Sept. 28, 2018, at the Glory Bound Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Linnie was born Saturday, Aug.t 18, 1951 in Marlow, to Bill and Betty June (Nixon) Woods. He graduated from Marlow High School and lived in the area until moving to Ardmore for the past 30 years.

Linnie married his lovely wife, Judy Vance in Gainsville, Texas on Feb. 14, 2003. They have been married for 15 wonderful years. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing and building tree houses with his grandchildren.

Linnie liked to read the National Enquirer and enjoyed doing woodwork. He loved his family dearly. He attended the Faith Southern Baptist Church in Ardmore. 

Survivors include his wife, Judy Woods of Ardmore, two sons, Dustin Woods and wife Lisa of Wayne, Michael Woods of Jones, two daughters, Michelle Dorer of Ardmore, Stephanie Dorer of Saint Louis, MO, 9 grandchildren, Essence, Destini, Olivia, Kanyon, Taylor, Denton, Evan, Parker, and Maverick.

He is also survived by his brother, Glenn Woods, two sisters, Debbie Carter, Shelly Woods, numerous nieces and nephews. Linnie was preceded in two sons, Shawn Michael Woods, Christopher Linn Woods, his parents, two brothers, Bruce Woods, Billy Woods, and two sisters, Tonya Gayle Allen, Lenora. Pallbearers will be Brandon Allen, Justin Spivey, Jordan Ross, Kanyon Gaines, and Laramie Caldwell. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dale Owens, Bill Caldwell, and Curtis Peoples.
