Some contested races in local elections

A few local school board seats will be contested as the filing period ended Wednesday.

Of nine school districts, there are three contested races (Bray-Doyle, Central High and Velma-Alma).

For the City of Marlow, Ward I incumbent Joe Marcano has no challenger and no one filed for Ward IV.
