Jewel Marie Nichols

Marlow: Jewel Marie Nichols, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Marlow, at the age of 80.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the Glory Bound Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Family visitation has been set for Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

Marie was born Sunday, November 6, 1938 in Doyle, to Jack and Jewell (Patterson) Grice. She had lived in the Stephens County area all of her life. Marie married Wayne L. Nichols in Lawton on August 10, 1956. They had been married for 62 wonderful years before her passing. Marie was a homemaker that loved her family dearly along with working for Wortham's Laundry for many years. She enjoyed taking pictures and made the best fried chicken. Marie loved going to church and singing at nursing homes. She was a member of the Glory Bound Church in Marlow. 

Survivors include, her husband, Wayne L. Nichols of the home, 2 sons, Bobby Wayne Nichols and wife Beth of Duncan, Tony Leon Nichols and wife Stefani of Moore, a son-in-law, Mike Green of Duncan, 5 grandchildren, Nicole Nichols, Lindsey Brown and husband Micah, Clay Nichols and wife Jess, Ryan Nichols, Nathan Nichols, 3 great-grandchildren, Kylan Nichols, Shylah Nichols, Zoe Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Marie was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Marie Green, her parents, and a sister, Josephine "Jo" Robinett.

Pallbearers will be: Eddie Patterson, Kenny Patterson, Dale Rochell, Lester Rogers, Gary Nichols, and Ronnie Turner. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Clay Nichols, Nathan Nichols, and Ryan Nichols.
