Preston H. Mason

Rush Springs: Preston H. Mason, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Lawton, at the age of 83.

Cremation has taken place. No services have been scheduled at this time at the families request. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Preston was born Saturday, February 16, 1935 in Houlton, Maine, to Pearley and Alfreda (Brown) Mason. He lived in Maine until moving to the Stephens and Grady county area where he lived most of his life. Preston married the love of his life, Faye Hall in Lawton on September 27, 1960. They were married for 54 wonderful years before Faye's passing on November 28, 2014. He worked for Pixley Tubing for over 30 years after serving our country in the United States Army. Preston loved watching high school sports and he especially loved playing basketball. He enjoyed helping his wife with the girl scouts and working in the yard as well. Preston had a kind heart that will be missed by many dear family and friends. 

Survivors include, a son, Keith McCollom and wife Debbie of Dallas, TX, a daughter, Cheryl Bratcher and husband Rusty of Rush Springs, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren,as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Along with his wife, Preston was preceded in death by a son, Steve Allan Mason, his parents, and 2 sisters.
