Joyce Faye Nichols Taylor

Joyce Faye Nichols Taylor, 79 of Star City, formerly of White Hall, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

Born April 6, 1939 at Marlow, Oklahoma, she was a daughter of the late  Othur Nichols and Fannie Lee Holt Nichols.

As a homemaker and member of First Pentecostal Church of God,  Mrs. Taylor loved her Lord and family above all else.  

She enjoyed preparing meals for her beloved family, the beauty of fresh flowers and solving crossword puzzles.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leland Taylor; five siblings, Eugene, Carrol, Beulah, Betty and Johnnie Kay.

 Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Lynda Cherry and husband Randy,  and Leland Taylor, Jr; siblings, Wanda Dykins, Wayne Nichols and Mickey Nichols; grandchildren, James Cherry, Leah Roberts, Braydon Taylor, Dayna Hancock and Randy Bill Cherry; great-grandchildren, Blakley, Oliver, Clara, Bailey, Nathan and Tyler;  former daughter-in-law, Tracey Taylor; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15, 10:00 a.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel (formerly Cranford Funeral Home) with Reverend Ronald Grundy and Tony Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday, 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
