Billy M. Walker

Billy M. Walker, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at the age of 64.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Lee Parish officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Fort Sill National Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Stephens County Honor Guard. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Family visitation will be Monday, January 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel.

Billy was born Monday, August 9, 1954 in Lawton, to Billy Marvin Delano and Ima Belle (Davis) Walker. He graduated with the Class of 1972 from the Marlow High School and lived in the area since 1982. He served his country proudly in the United States Army for 20 years in the field artillery and retired as a master sergeant. Billy married the love of his life, Charlene Robertson in Marlow on May 31, 1974. They were married for 44 wonderful years before his passing. He enjoyed coaching his children in little league when they were younger and playing golf. He liked traveling, spending time at the lake with friends and family, and taking care of his yard, but Billy's most loved and cherished time was spent with his family, who he loved dearly. 

Survivors include, his wife, Charlene Walker of the home, son, David Walker and wife Kolleen of Duncan, son, Dennis Walker and wife Melanie of North Platte, NE, 3 grandchildren, Austin Walker of Wyandotte, MI, Katelyn Walker of Wyandotte, MI, Justin Walker of Amberg, Germany, a sister, Lola Gogel and husband Greg of Edmond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a mother-in-law, Betty Robertson of Duncan. 

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Ricky Walker, Glen Glenn, Hayden Walker, and his grandmother, Nora Davis.

Pallbearers will be: Craig Worthley, Mack LaRock, Kevin Dang, Tom Maiberger, Carl Douglas, and Stan Jeffcoat.
