Veterans Corner to Assist with Benefit Claims

Veterans Corner will be at Marlow First Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 17 from 9am – 1pm. Volunteers will assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits.

Veterans Corner, based in Norman, brings volunteers and staff from other support organizations to Marlow a few times each year. Other organizations that will be on site area USE Credit Union, Veterans Home Health Care, and Around the Clock Care Home Health.

Attendees should bring the following information in order to apply for benefits:

· DD214

· Marriage License

· Dependent birth certificate(s)

· Spouses filing for spousal benefits should bring all papers and medical records

· Any additional documentation that supports a claim

· Bank account information for deposits

Those planning to attend are asked to contact Neal Owen, the area coordinator, at 580-658-5029 so that adequate volunteers can be on-hand.
