Dorris Marie Wilkerson Thornton

Dorris Marie Wilkerson Thornton, daughter, born to Allen John Wilkerson and Arline Elizabeth Davis on February 17, 1937 passed through Heavens Golden Gate on March 4th, 2020 to join her husband of 50 years, Kenneth William Thornton and their children, Patricia Ann Tollison Thornton and Larry Gene Tollison Thornton. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Jewell Ola Wilkerson Shelton, Johnny Neil Wilkerson and Virginia Ann Wilkerson.

She was survived by her daughter, Sharlet Mariea Thornton Kennedy of Las Vegas, Nevada and son, Tony Lee Tollison Thornton & wife Jeanie of Duncan, Oklahoma, Sherry Sanda Thornton Dennis & husband, Bruce of Marlow, Oklahoma; surviving grandchildren, Sherry Patricia Tim's Bowerman of Las Vegas, Roger Dean Tim's, Jr. (Sonny) of McKinleyville, California, Adam, David and Maria Kennedy of Las Vegas, Jacob Kennedy of Reno, NV, Melissa Ann Tollison Bartz of Edmond, Oklahoma, April Gail Tollison Moomaw of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Meghan Rae Dennis Stufflebeam of Mustang, Oklahoma; twenty-five great grandchildren; her siblings Marjorie (Margie) Wilkerson Stubblefield of Lawton, Oklahoma, Thelma Allene Wilkerson Busler of Moore, Oklahoma, Allen Joe Ray Wilkerson, wife Pamela of Duncan, Oklahoma, Clarence Author Wilkerson, wife Mary of Mustang, Oklahoma, Floyd Wayne Wilkerson, wife Myrtle of Foster, Oklahoma, Troy Melvin Wilkerson, wife Florene of Fort
Cobb, Oklahoma, Janice Arline Wilkerson, husband John of Wantage, New Jersey and Katy LaGail Wilkerson Turner of Cement, Oklahoma along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Dorris Marie Wilkerson Thornton will be on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Miracle Revival Center in Duncan.
