Local coaches pleased with scrimmages

TOUGH DEFENSE: Beau Meshell wraps up running back Bradly Lowry at the Blue-White scrimmage on Aug. 11. The Marlow defense has put together two solid performances so far this pre-season, including last Friday at Pauls Valley. Marlow hosts Lindsay at 6 p.m. Thursday in its final scrimmage with the 7-8 grade playing first followed by the ninth grade and then the varsity. Admission is free, but a donation of liquid laundry detergent or bottle water would be appreciated by the team.
