HEAVE-HO: Local postal carriers and volunteers load supplies of nonperishable food items into the beds of pickups before transporting them to the three food banks in northern Stephens County after Saturday’s letter carrier food drive. The total weight of the bags of food easily topped 6,000 pounds.
