Powered up - After 11 dark days, Marlow sees the light

THAT MAGIC MOMENT: Electrical workers ready Marlow’s substation for power Monday morning. At around 10:30 a.m., power was restored to most of the city after PSO linemen spent 20 straight hours making final preparations on the transmission line east of the city. City electrical employees, with mutual-aid assistance, hoped to have all households and businesses with power by midweek, following a blackout that lasted more than a week.
