Earl Dean Graham

September 25, 2017

Earl Dean Graham, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, in Oklahoma City at the age of 86.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Marlow Cemetery, with Rev. David Hale officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation in Marlow. At the family's request there will not be a public viewing.

Dean was born Thursday, September 10, 1931, in Grady County, to Earl and Rusha Lee (Hope) Graham. He attended school at Doyle School and had lived in the Bray area all his life. He married the love of his life, Faye Whaley, on December 22, 1949, in Chickasha. Dean owned and operated the Old Gin in Bray and also worked as a rough neck in his younger years, but what he loved the most was to work on his farm. A well-known farmer and rancher in the Bray area, Dean was considered a man of few words, but when he spoke, both young and old stopped to listen to the wisdom he shared. He enjoyed mowing and taking care of the cemeteries where all of his family members were buried. Dean will be missed greatly as he was loved by so many.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Graham of the home; son, Kevin Graham and wife, Janice of Bray; daughter, Debra Florence and husband, Danny of Marlow; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don "Boog" Graham and Buddy "Butch" Graham, both of Doyle; two sisters, Mildred Crawford of Marlow, and Sue Herron and husband, Bill of Blanchard. Dean is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Barry Graham; his parents; two brothers, Floyd "Nock" Graham and Buck Graham; and a sister, Leona Faye Condit.
