Virginia "Flo" Florence Blundell

Virginia "Flo" Florence Blundell, left this world Sunday, April 1, 2018, in Marlow at the age of 78.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Flo was born Sunday, November 19, 1939, in Stephens County, Oklahoma, to Henry H. and Lena (Holt) Davis. She attended school at the Hope and Bray Schools. Flo had lived in the Marlow area all of her life where she managed the Sonic and Humphrey Lake Concession as well as working as a cook at the Clear Creek Lake Concession and Family Inn. She was a nurse at the Talley Walker Hospital too. Flo married Melvin Edward Douglas in 1964 in Marlow until his passing in 1993. She later married Miles Blundell on November 1, 1994, in Marlow until his passing on October 1, 2013. Flo enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, and dominos. The most treasured times was when she was spending time with her family and gardening in her flowerbeds. Flo was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Billy Don Douglas of Marlow; grandson, Joshua Douglas; two granddaughters, Jessica Dawn Douglas and Mistie Murrah; two great-grandsons, Connor Peyt and Gunnar Wade Douglas; and three sisters, Lois Ensminger of Marlow, Joann Brosh of Marlow, and Peggy Gibson of Duncan. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

Along with her two husbands, Flo was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, QB Davis and Lloyd Davis; and a sister, Dorothy Elroy.

Pallbearers will be Pallbearers will be Shaylen Brosh, Steven Brosh, Dennis Elroy, Keith Elroy, Tony McAdams, Allan Jordan, Steve Odem, and Roddy McClanahan.
