Wall named to NAIA all-region team

Oklahoma City University softball pitcher Gigi Wall of Marlow was selected to the All-NFCA NAIA Southwest Region First Team it was announced today.

Wall, who had her season cut short due to a leg injury, finished with an 18-4 record and a 1.41 ERA on the mound. She tossed 137 strikeouts in 134.1 innings and ranks 12th among the NAIA in opponent batting average (.177) and hits allowed per nine innings (4.53). Wall grabbed her third all-SAC first-team honor and was a three-time conference pitcher of the week this season.
