Margaret Williene Sullivan Ford

Margaret Williene Sullivan Ford was born the youngest of three to D.W. and Louise Sullivan on January 13, 1944, in Dumas, Texas. She passed into eternity on May 28, 2018, at Duncan Regional Hospital surrounded by two of her children.

During her toddler years, the family moved to the homeplace east and south of Sterling. Williene attended Sterling Schools graduating with the class of 1962. On September 14, 1963, she married Ronnie Ford at the Holy Chapel in the Wichita Mountains.

During their married life, Williene and Ronnie made homes in Sterling, Marlow, Woodward, the homeplace outside of Sterling, and finally Marlow. Williene was CFO and partner in Model T Dairy until selling out when she became the receptionist for Dr. Henton in Rush Springs. She loved to read, play cards, camp, swim, and cross-stitch. She attended every event that her children and grandchildren were a part of, no matter where or when.

Williene is survived by her three children, Donna, Chet, and Berry; five grandchildren and their spouses, Rebecca and Coy Buchanan, Drew Horning, Whitney Ford, Rachel and John Harrison, Morgan Ford; three great-grandchildren, Trevor Gibson, Katie and Brooklyn Harrison; one brother and his wife, Bob and Bessie Sullivan; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ford and Judy Jones; two aunts, Joy Ridener and Doris McCutcheon; her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Williene was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie; brother, Pat Barker; sister, Mary Sue Hayes; niece, Deborah Sullivan Ray; and nephew, Duane Sullivan.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, May 30, at First Baptist Church Marlow. Her ashes will be scattered at a later date by her family in places she held dear to her heart.
