Methodist women to host fall luncheon

Marlow United Methodist Women (UMW) will hold their 32nd annual Fall Luncheon and Food Fest on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

They will be serving beans or Frito Chili pie with cornbread, dessert and a drink for $7.

Tickets are available from members or can be purchased at the door. Take-outs are available by calling 580-658-2765. The church is located at 421 W Main.

UMW members began this Election Day tradition in 1986, as a craft show with a hearty meal for shoppers.

Now, Fall Fest offers the community a chance to shop for delicious homemade food items including: cakes, pies, cookies, candy, frozen casseroles, and a variety of canned goods including jam, jelly, pickles and relish.

In the past, our customers have requested smaller casserole sizes and this year, chicken tetrazzini, beef enchilada and taco casseroles will be offered in small and regular size. Beet pickles have been added due to requests from last year.

All proceeds from the event are used by the UMW to support their Mission Outreach projects.
