Billie Dean Graham

Billie Dean Graham, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 90. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Grand Assembly of God in Chickasha, with Rev. Gary Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Family visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Bill was born Wednesday, January 25, 1928 in Doyle, to Tot William and Della Maude (McDowell) Graham. He attended school at Doyle and lived in the community for over 40 years. Bill lived in various other places but in the last 26 years he had called Anadarko home. He worked as a gin manager for Washita Valley Gins for more than 12 years before retiring to enjoy his farm. Billie married his lovely wife, Thayla May Wilson in Henrietta, Texas on June 10, 1949. They enjoyed 58 wonderful years together before Thayla's passing on December 13, 2007. He loved gardening and fishing. Bill enjoyed walking, studying his Bible, working puzzles, and talking on the phone with his friends. He was a master at checkers and dominoes; he couldn't be beaten. Billie had a love for the Lord and was a member of the Grand Assembly of God Church. He will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family. Survivors include, 5 daughters, Glenda Owen and husband Tommy of Chickasha, Janice Burkett and husband Leland of Henderson, TX, Joyce Lantz and husband Dale of Perris, CA, Sherry Holeman and husband Randy of Broken Bow, Tommie Garcia and husband Ramero of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, a sister, Jimmie Nell Mitchell of Edmond, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his wife, Bill was preceded in death by 2 infant daughters, his parents, 7 sisters, Christine Atkins, Mable Hope, Flossie Thompson, Doris Vandergriff, Betty Graham, Mildred Wynn, 4 brothers, T.W. Graham, Earl Graham, Granville Graham, Bob Graham.
