The Marlow Samaritan’s annual Christmas Box Distribution will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at the First Baptist Church Life Center. Located on 4th Street, patrons will line up from north to south and will be directed by local volunteer firemen to enter the Life Center parking area. Boxes will be handed out beginning at 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m.

Families were required to fill out a form in order to receive the December basket. No food will be given at the Marlow Samarian Food Pantry during the month of December as this distribution will replace regularly-scheduled times.

Anyone wishing to help with the enormous job of sorting and counting canned items is welcome to assist on Friday, Dec. 14, at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers are also being sought to help fill the boxes at 8:30 on Saturday morning. If there are enough volunteers, the distribution time could begin earlier than 10:30 a.m.
