Marlow Review names new publisher

January 17, 2019

The Marlow Review staff welcomed incoming Publisher, Katherine Farrow this week. Farrow, who goes by “Katie,” will be working side by side with Judy Keller; the current publisher who is slated to retire this month.

Keller said that she feels Farrow will be welcomed by the community with open arms.

“One of the things I was most excited about is the fact that she comes from a news background, she’s involved in the community, and has made lasting relationships all throughout Stephens County,” Keller said Wednesday. “I am very excited to have her here, I think she’ll be a great fit for Marlow. Even though her family isn’t originally from this area, she just has that home-town personality. She’s going to hit the ground running. I love the fact that community is extremely important to her, that’s important to me; it’s important to Marlow. She’s going to fit right in.”

Honoring the historic legacy of The Marlow Review and adding additional local content to complement the paper’s existing community focus are priorities for Farrow.

“I’m beyond honored and thrilled to be trusted with continuing the legacy of this historic news source,” said Farrow. “I promise to bring everything I have to give to this paper. Serving my community by ensuring they have a trusted, dependable, quality news source whose focus is exclusively local has never seemed more possible to me than it does right now. I’m so grateful to The Marlow Review and Lewis County Press for this opportunity.”
