Duncan Regional Hospital promotes men’s health through No Shave November

October 25, 2019

Duncan Regional Hospital is proud to be participating in No Shave November. The month-long journey encourages participants to forgo shaving and grooming to highlight men’s health and raise cancer awareness.

The goal of No Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Please join us in this endeavor. Don’t shave during November, and please donate to the DRH Health Foundation’s Cancer Care and Prevention fund.

The rules are simple: November 1st shave your beard/mustache. Post a picture of yourself shaving on your social media page, and the Duncan Regional Hospital facebook page using #drhnoshave19. Make a donation of $20 or more to the DRH Health Foundation cancer fund. Throughout November, periodically post pictures tracking your hair growth. On November 30th, post a final picture of yourself.

Prizes will be awarded December 2nd for the most creative, best celebrity look-alike, the most unique and best spirit of the cause beard/mustache.
