Myrna Loy Sewell

Myrna Loy Sewell, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 in Marlow, at the age of 82.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Eastside Baptist Church, with Rev. Zack Potts officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Myrna was born Tuesday, August 31, 1937 in Grady County, to Charlie Levesque and Lena Bell (Manning) Dorman. She had lived in the Marlow area all of his life and had graduated from Marlow High School. She went on to earn an associates degree from Cameron University. Myrna married her loving husband Marvin "Buddy" Sewell in Marlow at the Nazarene Church on May 8, 1982; they were married for 37 wonderful years before his passing on June 10, 2019. Myrna worked as a secretary/ bookkeeper for Stephens County for more than 22 years. She worked as a nurse for numerous offices throughout her career including Talley Walker Hospital, Gregston's Nursing Home, and Dr. Walkers Office. Myrna enjoyed collecting coins and reading. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Myrna will be dearly missed.
Survivors include, 3 sond, Brett Kimbro and wife Sonja of Marlow, Ricky Kimbro of Marlow, Mark Kimbro of Empire, a daughter, Cheryl Jean Sanford and husband Timmy of Marlow, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Larry Dorman and wife Shirley of Duncan, 3 sisters, Ruth McClain of McLean, TX, Rosene White of Iowa Park, TX, Charlena Dickson and husband John Bob of Snyder, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Myrna was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Haidley Kimbro, her parents, a brother, Duane Dorman, and a sister, Lorene Woods.

Pallbearers will be: Brett Kimbro, Mark Kimbro, Ricky Kimbro, Russell Alsobrook, Ricky Sparks, Kenny Barker, and Chris Dawson.
