Marilyn Elizabeth Patterson

Marilyn Elizabeth Patterson passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 in Marlow, at the age of 77.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Marlow, with Rev. Ron Maxfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Marilyn was born Tuesday, June 1, 1943 in Winchester, VA, to Woodrow and Mary (Eaton) Gentry. She lived in the Marlow area most of her life and had graduated from the Woodrow Wilson High School. Marilyn married the love of her life, Ralph Patterson on August 1, 1996 in Wayne, Oklahoma; they were married for 19 wonderful years before Ralph's passing on April 20, 2016. Marilyn worked as the office manager for Warehouse Foods in Marlow for more than 28 years. She loved shopping, gardening, and traveling. Marilyn enjoyed cooking especially for family get togethers. She loved dining out but her major love in her life were her grandchildren.

Survivors include, 2 sons, Kord Price and wife Tamra of Marlow, Brandy Price and wife Lynn of Marlow, 2 daughters, Breeze Emery and husband Rick of Bedford, TX, Misty Newton and husband James of Duncan, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Kenneth Gentry of Winchester, VA, Ronnie Gentry of Winchester, VA, a sister, Deloris Davis of Virginia Beach, VA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of great friends.

Along with her husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Hazel Boatman.

Pallbearers will be: her grandsons.
