Uvon Marie Elroy

Uvon Marie Elroy passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Marlow, at the age of 80.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 5, 2020, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. Ron Maxfield officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Uvon was born Saturday, March 16, 1940 in Madill to Luther and Martha Delilia (Harris) Sullins. She had lived in the Marlow area the last 48 years. Uvon married Odell Elroy in Lawton on August 26, 1957; they were married for 63 wonderful years before her passing. Uvon enjoyed collecting and reading books, she especially took great pride in reading her Bible which she was always doing. She was a Godly woman that was always posting Bible verses on cards all over the house. Uvon loved to learn and read about healthy living.
Survivors include her husband, Odell Elroy of the home, 3 sons, Bryan Elroy of Ridgecrest, CA, Darrell Elroy of Marlow, Darren Elroy of Marlow, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother, L.J. Sullins and wife Lawanna of Meridian, a sister, Noval Beam of Lindsey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Uvon was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Johnny Sullins, Irskin Sullins, and 2 sisters, Oval Stanley, Ruthalene Smith.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Elroy, Darrell Elroy, Darren Elroy, James Elroy, Bradley Elroy, and Micah Elroy.
