Edna Earle Brady

Edna Earle Brady of Marlow, Oklahoma was born to Earl H. and Mamie (Brock) Meadows on August 4, 1927 in Eldorado, Oklahoma and passed from this life on December 4, 2020 in Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years.
Edna grew up on a farm on the Red River south of Eldorado. When she was 16, her family moved to Elk City, Oklahoma, where she attended church and met her husband Lecil. On April 25, 1946, Edna and Lecil were married at the Central Baptist Church in Elk City. Edna was a homemaker and a member of the Marlow Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed singing and teaching children songs about Jesus. The highlight of her life was the care she gave her family, children, and grandchildren. The most important thing she taught her family was the love of Jesus and His saving grace.

2 sons: Dennis Brady and his wife Marsha of Canadian, Oklahoma
Todd Brady and his wife Amanda of Marlow, Oklahoma
1 daughter: Lisa Bowles and her husband David of Ninnekah, Oklahoma
Daughter-in-laws: Rosalie Brady (spouse of Lynn) and Brenda Brady (spouse of Tim)
13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren

Husband: Lecil Brady
Sons: Lynn Brady of Houston, Texas and Tim Brady of College Station, Texas
Parents: Earl H. and Mamie Meadows
Brothers: Joe Franklin Meadows and Charles Junior Meadows
Sisters: Lola Wisecarver and Shirley Alexander
Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Marlow Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in the National Cemetery at Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com.
