Marlow Swim Ends Season at State

Marlow Outlaw Swim Team sent all five team members to Class 5A State competition last week, with several earning new Personal Records and school records. The men’s team placed seventh out of 31 teams present.

The lone Lady Outlaw, Morgan Warren, swam the 200 freestyle in 2:21.12 (personal and school records) and the 500 freestyle in 6:36.20. She earned 11th place in both events.

The men’s 400 Freestyle relay team of Karsten Terrell, Braxton Ramsey, Luke Banks, and Gage DaVoult took fifth place with a time of 3:34.77, another school record.

Terrell also took fourth in the 200 free (1:54.07) and third in the 500 free (5:15.65). Banks was also in the top 10 for his individual events, the 50 free (23.62, a personal record) and 100 breast (1:05.86, personal and school record) for 5th and 9th respectively. DaVoult took 4th in 50 freestyle (22.93) and 7th in 100 butterfly (57.93, a personal record).
