Eloise Sanders

Eloise Sanders of Marlow, Oklahoma, was born March 22, 1947 in Columbus, Georgia to William M. and Eleanor L. Edge. She passed away on February 6, 2022 in Duncan at the age of 74.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Thursday, February 17, at 10:00AM at First Baptist Church-Marlow with Pastor Ron Maxfield officiating. Inurnment will follow at Marlow Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Eloise was employed as a cross-country truck driver for AMACO Oil, Norcross, Georgia and Texas City, Texas. She had also worked as a welder at Sooner Trailer. She was proud of her truck driving school. She loved to buy and sell at flea markets. She also loved her "eats". Most of all, she loved her family.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Claud E. Sanders, Eloise is survived by her children: Charlotte Antoinette (Eller) Adams and William Asa Hopkins and wife Clois; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Chavez; nieces, Sandy Benefield and Sheila Lovekamp; and her dear friend, Mona Kemp of Fletcher.
