Emergency services quickly respond to Marlow's US 81S Thanksgiving Eve

A two-vehicle accident with injuries happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, on US 81 at the south end of Marlow in front of the Kwik Lube business. Details of how the crash happened or the number of individuals hurt were not available at the scene. Marlow Police, Marlow Fire & Rescue and EMS Survival Flight responded within minutes of the dispatch call. Traffic on the four-lane entering and exiting the city limits was narrowed to two lanes while the accident scene was worked by the responders. It was lightly raining and fog was beginning to settle as the Thanksgiving Eve holiday and early rush hour traffic began. Information gathered on the scene indicated the elderly man driving the maroon car was from Rush Springs. Details will be updated once they are available from the Marlow Police Department.
