Marlow Varsity Basketball teams take to court tonight

Marlow basketball season celebrates homecoming tonight at the new gym. Here are the players on the 2022-23 roster for both boys and girls varsity teams. Varsity girls game tips off at 6:30 p.m. Boys varsity is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. and the basketball homecoming is at halftime.

Boys: Avrey Payne is the lone senior on the boys team; juniors are Cody Weber, Mason Holding and Zach Pettit; sophomores are Zach Long, Blayd Harris, Kaden Harris, Kyler Blundell, Jacob Crowson, Canton Clark, Parker Boyles and Isaac Willis; freshman are Brenden Brooks and Hudson Morgan. Payne is the tallest player on the team at 6’5”. Head Coach is Kirk Harris, with assistant coaches Matt Weber and Brock Harris. Team manager is Peyton Ortega and Karlee Harrison. Jonah Barton is listed on the roster as videographer.

Girls: There are five seniors on the team, Marlow Latimer, Whitney Wade, Kendall Kizarr, Katie Ellsworth and Erin Doughty; juniors are Demi Hunt, Kenlee Wilson, Allye Haile, Kently Davis; freshman are Carson Lovett, Gracee Ottinger, Kenly Castle, Lakyn Foss, Kory Scott and Bretlie Hyde. Head Coach is Brett Tahah, assistant coaches are Scott Tahah and Trey Coffman; team managers are Sage Minyard and Blakley Tanner.
