Election filings closed for City of Marlow; various school board seats
The following individuals have filed their declaration for candidacy in Stephens County. Filing period was in the first week of December. The elections for the City of Marlow and school board seats will be filled in the non-partisan primary election set Feb. 14, 2023. If necessary, a general election is scheduled for April 4, 2023.
In the City of Marlow, Ward 1 unexpired term, Greg Brooks filed Dec. 5; and Ward 2, Neal Lee Moore filed Dec. 7.
In the Marlow Public Schools I-3, Office #3, Larry R. Johnson II filed Dec. 5, and Chris Shelby filed Dec. 6.
In the Central High Public Schools I-34 Office #3, Tony L. Scott filed Dec. 5 and then withdrew his declaration on Dec. 7, and Aaron Johnson filed Dec. 7.
Bray-Doyle Public Schools I-42 Office #3, Larry Osborne and Jason Smith both filed Dec. 7.
In Duncan Public Schools I-1 Office #3, Eric Davis filed Dec. 5; Taylor Strong Dec 7, and April Markham-Sanchez filed Dec. 7, but withdrew on the same day.
In Comanche Public Schools I-2 Office #3, Thomas Winton filed Dec. 7.
In Velma-Alma Public Schools I-15, Office #3, Kyle Firestone filed Dec. 6; and B.J. Chapman filed Dec. 7; Office #1 unexpired, Jason Bartline and Chance Jenkins both filed Dec. 7.
Empire Public Schools I-21 Office #3, Susan Kay Dresser filed Dec. 6; Terri Cobbs and Jerry Thomas Whatley and Amanda Archer all filed Dec. 7.
Grandview Public Schools C-82 Office #2, Kevin Lindesmith filed Dec. 5.
Red River Tech Center 19 Office #3, Sam D. Porter filed Dec. 5.
